MS MUD RUN VOLUNTEER JOBS

Tuesday-Friday

·        Groups of at least 20 volunteers will need to be at the MUD RUN site to assist, the course designer.  This is a VERY labor intensive and the volunteers will be responsible for unloading ALL the course equipment and setting it up.

Friday

·        Volunteers will be needed for “packet pick up” at a designated location where MUD RUN participants will check in and receive their supplies (timing chip, race number, t-shirt, etc) for the event.

Saturday

·        Chip Table:  10 volunteers will be needed to man this table.  These volunteers will be responsible for handing out the timing chips to the participants prior to the start of the event.

·        Finish Line Volunteers:  These volunteers will be responsible for removing the timing chips from the participant’s shoes.  This is a fast-paced job but very exciting!

·        Obstacle Course Monitors: Volunteers will be needed throughout the course to man and monitor the obstacles.  Groups of volunteers will be there to assist participants and provide services if needed.

·        Water Stations: Throughout the MUD RUN, water stations will be placed in order to provide refreshments to participants.  Groups of 3-4 are needed to man a water station.
